Helltaker is a short puzzle game where you move through small levels set in hell. Each stage is like a grid. You have limited moves, so every step matters. You push blocks, kick skeleton enemies, and find a path to the goal before you run out of turns
The puzzles start simple but get tricky fast. You deal with spike traps, locked paths, and tight spaces. Sometimes one wrong move means restarting the level. So you think ahead and plan a few steps at a time.

When you reach the end, you meet a character. Then comes a short dialogue. You pick answers based on their personality. If you choose wrong, the level resets and you try again.
The game is quick but challenging. Some levels feel easy, then suddenly you hit one that makes you stop and think. It’s more about solving the puzzle in the cleanest way than rushing through. And since levels are short, restarting never feels too annoying.
There’s also a mix of styles. Most of the game is grid puzzles, but later parts add new pressure with faster hazards and tougher layouts. It keeps things fresh without changing the core idea.
Overall, Helltaker is about solving tight puzzles, learning from mistakes, and figuring out the best path in a limited number of moves.
