“A Difficult Game About Climbing” is a challenging game that tests your climbing skills to the limit.

In this game, you control your climber’s hands using only your mouse or gamepad to pull yourself up an enormous, treacherous mountain full of challenges and surprises. The gameplay is punishing but not impossible, and practice makes perfect. Every obstacle is designed with intention, and there are no distracting elements.

The game is non-violent, and you can never die or get hurt. However, one mistake can cause you to lose all your progress, which might be considered worse. The game is about climbing, slipping, falling, and suffering over and over. Interestingly, you cannot use your legs for some reason.

The game is inspired by “Getting Over it with Bennett Foddy” which in itself is a homage to an even older game, “Sexy Hiking” by Jazzuo. The developer hoped to contribute to the spirit of a “Foddian Type” game genre.
