Angry Birds Epic takes the classic Angry Birds world and turns it into a turn-based RPG adventure. Instead of launching birds with a slingshot, you build a team of birds and fight pig enemies in battles across Piggy Island. The game mixes strategy, gear upgrades, and character classes in a way that feels very different from the older Angry Birds games.
You travel through beaches, caves, forests, and castles while chasing pigs that stole the eggs. Each area has new enemy types, stronger bosses, and different battle setups. Some fights are simple, but later battles need better planning and stronger equipment.
Combat is based on turns. Your birds attack first, then the pigs attack back. Every bird has different skills, so team setup matters a lot. Some birds deal heavy damage while others heal or protect the group.
Enemies also have special attacks. Some can stun your team, remove buffs, or hit multiple birds at once. Boss fights become longer and more tactical as the game goes on.
One of the biggest parts of the game is collecting gear and changing classes. Birds can become knights, wizards, pirates, druids, and more. Each class changes how the bird plays in battle.
You also craft weapons, shields, and potions using materials earned from battles and treasure chests. Better gear increases health, damage, and special effects. Some equipment adds bonus attacks or healing effects during fights.
The map has hundreds of stages, hidden areas, and optional fights. Winning battles gives stars, crafting materials, and currency used for upgrades. There are also arena battles and extra challenges for players who want tougher fights.
Early battles are simple, but later levels can get difficult. You may need to change your team setup, craft stronger gear, or try different classes to win. That slow progression is a big reason why many players still remember the game years later. Some fans still talk about the boss fights and RPG mechanics today.
